General Description

The FCNCS-1GN-1GS is a Gigabit Ethernet media converter that can convert 10/100/1000Base-TX signal to 100/1000Base-FX signal and vice versa. It comes with an RJ45 port and SFP slot. The SFP slot can support both 155Mbps and 1.25Gbps SFP transceiver selected. The transmission distance of data will depend on the type of SFP transceiver. To detect any link that is broken, the converter comes with the Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function which allows the network links to be monitored and corrected.
